Hello,
I’m Kelly Mintz of Newburyport, Massachusetts. I’m in love with the beach and my adopted son. I have over 15 years of experience and have a boatload of experience photographing, weddings, engagements, proposals, events, family portraits, senior portraits, maternity, newborns and corporate headshots.
When I photograph, my style is often to tell a story - to capture all of the joyous and loving moments that occur naturally. I have an easy going personality and strive to make people feel comfortable. I will give gentle guidance towards either the best light or the most beautiful backgrounds, All the while, I pay close attention to every detail.
Besides my son, my true passion in life is photography. I have multiple degrees in photography and was educated by some of the world’s best photographers. While at school, each student was asked to teach a lil’ lesson on a photo subject of their choice. I taught a lesson on black and white print toning and instantly fell in love with teaching photography too. Shortly after school, I decided I wanted to be both - a professional photographer and a teacher. In 1998, I created, SEE Shore Photography, in Newburyport, MA, where I teach photography to kids and adults. Many of my students have gone on to pursue their own careers as professional photographers and exhibit in galleries. I truly love being both a teacher and professional photographer. Creating that balance helps me be one of New England’s top photographers.
